This post breaks over a year’s worth of silence here (outside of a few Anecdotes posted to make my father happy on his birthday!). There have been a lot of changes in my life. Join me on Tuesday, February 6 from 7:00-8:00 at Howell Library (formerly England Run) in Stafford for a presentation on “Arts and the Apocalypse.” I will give an overview on Apocalypse stories and artwork from various cultures, identify common themes, and discuss how we can use Apocalyptic motifs when creating art. On Saturday, March 10 at 10:00, I will be giving a lecture on Self Portrait Photography. Learn tips for how to take artistic selfies, use photo filters, and make quick retouches in Photoshop.
Through the month of May, a collection of my photography, illustrations, ink drawings, and additional fluff/cool prop items will be on display at England Run Library in Stafford, Virginia. Most of the pieces in the show are available for sale. I will also be there to sell and sign small prints and books on May 20th, 1:00-4:00. Check out a preview of the show below:
